ARTISAN MARKET OVERVIEW / VENDOR APPLICATION INFO

The Artisan Market at River Market in Fort Lauderdale provides an elevated social & shopping experience where the community can connect with each other, discover local artists and services and be inspired to support locally. This market focuses on hand made artisans and services only, as to provide a space to bring local markets back to their original roots (no AI, no reselling, all handmade all the time- if you did not make the items yourself or provide the service yourself, we kindly ask that you do not apply). (The permanent retailers of River Market will also be included in either all or various markets throughout the year).

Please apply below if you create handmade art, services, classes, vintage upcycled clothing that you have altered (please no vintage resellers), home bakeries & foods, wellness and any other creative goods. 

This is more than a market—it’s a rotating platform for artists, entrepreneurs, and service providers to grow their audience, collaborate, and share their work in a thoughtfully designed environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A VENDOR:

• A curated selection process (not all applicants are accepted) to maintain quality and cohesion and to prevent competition with permanent retailers at River Market.
• A mix of handmade goods, vintage upcycled clothing (no reselling), art, handmade jewelry (no reselling), homewares, wellness, and small-batch food vendors
• A community-focused atmosphere with music, food/drink, and an emphasis on connection and experience for all ages
• Vendors are responsible for their own setup (tables, tent, chairs, fabric table cloths, curated display materials, etc.)
• Approved vendors will receive event details, load-in instructions, and payment link upon selection
• Spaces may vary in size and availability - There will be 10X10 tent spaces and 8 6X6 table spaces (LIMITED to 20 spots only total)
• By applying, you agree to pay the vendor fee upon acceptance and no later than 1 week prior to the market to avoid being waitlisted
• Vendor selection notifications are typically sent 3–6 weeks prior to each market.
